TERME PRÉFÉRENTIEL
Double-faced weave
DÉFINITION
- It refers to a fabric, with both sides usable, with the warp / weft composed of two series, each of them appearing in each side. This is achieved by arranging the points of binding of each series, so they are concealed by the floats of the other series. Those two faces could be similar or different in binding and colour. Both faces of the textile show the binding system.
