Poil (yarn)
DÉFINITION
- n. A term borrowed from the French "poil". It is a silk yarn formed by throwing grège yarn. The twist may either be very slight or exceed 3000 per metre. In English (in England) the term "singles" is used also, but its used is not recommended by CIETA.
