Spanish lace
DÉFINITION
- n. A silk lace made in Spain either white or black. What is particular is its design with large flower decorations sewn to the net (machine-made ground) and outlined with a heavy silk thread run in with a needle. When it is made manually both ground and lace are done at the same time.
