DEFINICIÓN
- n. A term inherited from Germanic. From the Old English "fleax" and the Middle English "vlexe" "flexe" "flaxe2 among other forms. It refers to the bast fiber obtained from the stem of the plant "linum usitatissimum". Linen textile or fabric is done with this fiber.
