DEFINITION
- n. A termn partly from the French "cremosin" and partly from the Latin "cremosinus" "cramacenus" "crimesinus". A deep red colour, somewhat inclining towards purple. Similar of an alkaline infusion of cochineal. It is also used as an adjective.
