DEFINITION
  • Subst. fém. En broderie, la cannetille est un agrément d'or – soit un fil de métal rond ou aplati, recouvert d'un fil d'effet, puis enroulé autour d'une broche pour former une spirale – qui peut se présenter sous forme de "frisure", c'est à dire un trait d'or mat roulé en tire-bouchon.
