  • n. A famous and costly bobbin or needlepoint pillow-lace made in and around Brussels, Belgium. It consists ona net lace with cordonnet edging the pattern in needlepoint; designs made separately and apliqued on the net. It has a even and thick texture and its form is delicated and accurated.
