DEFINITION
- It designates the weave which produces within the course of 4 threads and after the greatest dissemination of its 4 ligature points of the fundamental step. It has many applications in cotton and silk fabrics, as well as high density and strength. Very used for Jacquard drawings when combinations of ligaments or effects of various wefts and warps are made.
