- Termine portoghese che significa "tappeto" o "coperta". Indica un pregiato tappeto indiano, realizzato con fili di seta e oro o argento, riccamente ornato e utilizzato per coprire tavoli o panche. Poteva anche essere usato per coprire il pavimento.
